Have you checked out the Friends of FDR African American Market at FDR Park, a brand-new cultural and community experience in South Philadelphia?
The market kicked off on Saturday, June 14th, and runs every Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM through the end of summer. Located at the soccer fields across from the Skate Park, the market will spotlight food, goods, and creativity from African American and African Diaspora vendors.
In addition to delicious food, guests can look forward to musical, cultural, and artistic performances (dates to be announced). Each Saturday promises a lively and family-friendly atmosphere celebrating culture, community, and entrepreneurship.
⚠️ Please Note: The African American Market is open to registered vendors only. Register Here!
So mark your calendars, bring your friends and family, and join us this summer at FDR Park to shop, eat, and celebrate the rich traditions of Philadelphia’s African American community.
