On Saturday May 19, Organizing for America is hosting Camp Obama, a one day organizer training for anyone interested in becoming a Neighborhood Team member, an Organizing Fellow or even a paid Field Organizer with the President’s re-election campaign. This one day of training, lead by Organizing for America PA staff, will teach supporters Barack Obama’s core organizing values of common purpose, team building, individual empowerment, and community development through interactive training sessions and hands on experience.
Camp Obama will train new volunteers, fellows, and potential field staff on the importance of getting involved, the basic community organizing tactics used by the Obama campaign and provide all necessary resources and information for becoming an active and committed volunteer.
